Terms of participation
These apply to every Inner Companion workshop, retreat and circle. Each programme also has its own terms — dates, seats, contribution, refunds and who it suits — which sit on that programme’s own page.
The group agreement
Our rooms only work because of what people agree to when they walk in. This is that agreement.
- A safe and brave space. Come with an open heart and curiosity. That is most of what is required.
- What is shared in the room stays in the room. Please don’t repeat, post or discuss another participant’s personal story outside the session without their explicit permission.
- Every exercise is opt-in. There is no obligation to share anything you are not comfortable sharing. You may pass on any activity, at any point, without explaining why.
- Respect for everyone in the room. We may ask someone to step out of a session, without refund, if their conduct is disruptive or unsafe for the group. We have never had to. We would rather say it plainly than leave it unsaid.
Recording, photographs and consent
- No audio or video recording of participants without their consent.
- Inner Companion Foundation may take general photographs of the venue or the group setting for its own records.
- Anything specific to an individual — a photograph of you, a quote, your story — is only used publicly, including on social media, with your separate and explicit consent, asked for after the session.
- Where children are present at a family programme, we use first names only, with a parent’s consent, and never publish a photograph that identifies a child by name without it.
What our work is, and what it is not
Our programmes are reflective and educational, built on the Regenerative Mindsets framework developed by Inner Companion Foundation. They are not psychotherapy, clinical counselling, medical advice or crisis support, and they are not a substitute for any of those.
They are designed for people carrying ongoing strain, not acute crisis. If you are currently in crisis, or under active psychiatric or psychological care, please speak with your care provider before registering. Tell us in advance about any support, health, mobility or accessibility needs, and we will do what we can to make the space work for you.
If you are having a hard time right now and a workshop is not the right thing, that is completely fine. Write to us anyway at info@innercompanion.in — we would rather point you somewhere genuinely useful than sell you a seat.
Registration and contribution
- A seat is confirmed only once payment is received. Registering interest does not hold a place.
- Seats are confirmed in the order registrations are received. Our rooms are small and they do fill.
- If the contribution is a barrier, write to us. We hold a few pay-it-forward seats on most programmes, no questions asked.
- Refund and transfer terms are set per programme and stated on that programme’s page.
- We may cancel or reschedule a programme in case of insufficient registrations, facilitator unavailability or unforeseen circumstances. If that happens, you will be offered a full refund or a seat at the next available session.
Materials
- Our frameworks, worksheets, handbooks and session materials remain the intellectual property of Inner Companion Foundation. They are for your personal use — not for redistribution or commercial reuse.
- Any notes, reflections or plans you make during a session are entirely your own.
Your information
- The contact details we collect at registration — name, phone, email — are used only to communicate with you about that programme.
- If you opt in, we may also send occasional updates about future Inner Companion programmes. You can opt out at any time, and we will not ask why.
- We do not share your details with third parties.
